Dedicated to the memory of Neil Hammond
This site is a tribute to Neil Hammond. He is much loved and will always be remembered. Guide dogs for the blind is a charity Neil supported. He loved all dogs but especially labradors and the wonderful work that they do for the blind. Guide dog puppy walking was on his to do list, but sadly time did not allow him to achieve this ambition.

Thoughts
Just seen this news on an old Hedley Walter school page on Facebook. MR Hammond was a legendary teacher to thousands of kids that passed through that school. He was always known as ‘the nice one’ amongst kids. What a lovely bloke. 😔

I was lucky enough to work with Neil at Ramsden. He was always so considerate, kind, caring and humble. An absolute gentleman and an inspiration for me. Thank you "Jambon".

Worked with Neil for some years in Billericay. Spent many hours playing football, cricket and tennis in Neil's company. A kind, funny and caring friend. A sad loss though an honour to have known him.
